As 2021draws to a close and we set our sights on a bright new year, it’s a good time to reflect on the causes closest to our hearts (especially on a day like Giving Tuesday). With that in mind, I have always been passionate about the mental and physical health of women, and admire organizations like March of Dimes that are committed to improving the health of mothers and babies across the nation.
I was delighted when their team and The Hill invited me to join them for a discussion surrounding #BLANKETCHANGE, a campaign demanding that policymakers prioritize our nation’s moms and babies. #BlanketChange will focus on equity, access, and prevention to create positive change for mothers and babies everywhere, particularly mothers and babies of color.
Register to join us this Thursday, December 2 at 10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. EST as The Hill brings together policymakers, physicians, and community advocates like myself for a comprehensive discussion on how to improve maternal and infant care across the country.
