How to support yourself (and others) through grief

BE WELL

Nina Westbrook for TED.com

I was invited by Cloe Shasha Brooks of the TED team to share in a conversation about grief. Part of their ‘How to Deal With Difficult Feelings’ series, we talked about the healthy responses that surround loss and how we can help ourselves navigate grief. In big ways and small ways, we all experience loss: whether it’s the passion of a loved one, the close of a career or even the end of a dream. This can be a difficult topic but my goal was to share the importance of grief as a natural emotion and a powerful lens that can help us all imagine new futures.
